From August 25 to 27, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Yarn (Autumn/Winter) 2026 was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Bringing together fiber and yarn companies from around the world, this professional trade fair has long served as a showcase for new materials, new processes, and emerging trends.

Jiaxing Shengbang Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. presented its "Dezhente" series of specialty yarns at Booth A85, Hall 8.2, engaging the industry in a deep dialogue told through the texture of the fibers themselves. This edition of the fair was held alongside CNTAC's autumn joint exhibitions for fabrics, apparel, and knitwear in the same venue, bringing upstream raw materials and downstream finished products together under one roof. For fiber and material companies, this was more than a platform to showcase products — it amounted to a comprehensive review before the entire industry.

The core products on display were once again Shengbang's slub yarn series, the result of years of dedicated research. Among them, controllable polyester and nylon slub yarns achieve a naturally undulating, three-dimensional texture in the finished fabric through precise control of slub pitch, length, and thickness, while the elastic, slub-controllable PET/PTT composite fiber combines stretch with slub texture and was previously shortlisted for "China Fiber Fashion Trends 2026/2027." Rather than competing on color, these products stand out for their hand-feel and structure, drawing large numbers of professional visitors to stop and examine them closely throughout the fair.

Over the three days of the fair, a steady stream of visitors and buyers came to the booth. Many professional visitors were drawn by the distinctive hand-feel of the slub yarns, running their fingers over the fabric samples again and again while discussing specifications, lead times, and customization needs with the company's team in depth; others closely compared color and texture at the fabric sample wall. Meetings and discussions ran throughout, with activity at the booth barely pausing.

Across the three-day fair, most of the time at the Shengbang booth was taken up by meetings. New clients arrived with clear requirements, while returning clients came as promised, with conversations centered largely on the hand-feel qualities and application scenarios of the slub yarns. The company's team listened carefully to each client's practical needs and responded professionally to every one. Exhibitors within the same hall also exchanged visits frequently, discussing new industry products, equipment upgrades, and process improvements. Holding the yarn in hand proved far more persuasive than simply displaying it on the stand — and the figures seen comparing samples again and again at the fabric wall often hinted at collaborations still to come.
