In high-speed filament yarn winding, the chuck tension segment is a critical wear-resistant component that directly contacts the paper tube to transmit torque. Its machining accuracy and material performance dictate the stability of paper tube clamping and the dynamic balance of the chuck during high-speed rotation.
Installed around the perimeter of the winder chuck, the tension segments are pushed outward by the internal inclined drive mechanism — converting axial force into radial expansion force to firmly grip the inner wall of the paper tube upon startup.
