Based on the high-speed winding and forming technology benchmarked against Oerlikon Barmag, our company has developed a high-performance traverse yarn guide (fork) specifically for Chonglee winders. The design is optimized in both structure and material to meet real production conditions, ensuring stable and reliable yarn guiding under high-speed and high-tension operations. Its working principle effectively replaces traditional grooved drums, significantly improving winding efficiency and package formation quality. The yarn-contacting areas are equipped with high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) ceramic inserts, which are firmly bonded to the fork body using high-strength adhesion technology. This provides excellent wear resistance, high-temperature resistance and a very low friction coefficient, greatly reducing yarn abrasion and breakage during operation. In addition, strict control over surface flatness and dynamic balance during manufacturing ensures synchronized movement and stable reversing performance, enhancing overall machine smoothness and service life. In practical use, it is recommended to regularly inspect the ceramic guiding surfaces; once visible grooves appear, replacement should be carried out promptly to avoid increased yarn breakage. At the same time, any deformation or bending of the fork should be addressed through professional repair or replacement, and forks should preferably be replaced in pairs to maintain dynamic balance and consistency. Furthermore, the condition of the gearbox and related transmission components should be checked simultaneously, ensuring the entire winding system operates under optimal conditions and delivers stable unwinding performance and consistent product quality for downstream texturing and weaving processes.
